[urq] I lost my powersteering and then power brakes.Ingo Rautenberg ingo.rautenberg at gmail.comMon Apr 20 08:23:38 PDT 2009
I'm leaning toward the pump, as the bomb is really for reserve braking. I'm curious, though. Did the level drop -- did you loose all or almost all of the PS fluid? How's the belt? Is it tight enough? I have not yet seen a total failure of the pump -- they'll leak, but I haven't seen one fail entirely, especially since the Urq pump is not the high pressure type as on later Audis. -Ingo On Apr 20, 2009, at 8:45 AM, steven j wrote: > I lost my powersteering first - that got me to open up the hydrolic > reservoir for the first time in 5 years.
