[urq] Vintage 80's steering wheelMike Del Tergo mdeltergo at hotmail.comFri Aug 28 17:09:57 PDT 2009
L-A, you have already found it. Bradys 4 spoke was a rally model. A quick look through some of the rally footage/pix of the era will show that wheel in a few of Rohrls rallying UrQ's. There was also a 3 spoke version, not sure if it saw rally duty. I've had both and like the thickness but these models have finger cut out notches in them and I prefer the smooth later sport versions. IIRC these are Italian made by ATIWE (you can tell because they mount to the boss with 3 larger set screws vs the later sports Italian made by Nardi with the more standard 6 set screw mount to the hub. One lister suggested a Fitti E3, one other a Momo Monte-Carlo. I've found a Sparco Targa or Monza. Any other suggestions ?
