[urq] "quattro" & "Audi" Decal Locations

As far as I know my car is original ... it is an '83 I bought in '86.  The
"Audi" sticker appears to be centered over the black plastic trim to the
left of the license plate lights.  I measure 3" from the edge of the lid to
the bottom tip of the "A" ... The "quattro" sticker looks to me to be
positioned a little right of center on the similar plastic trim to the right
of the license plate light.  I measured 3/4" from the edge of the lid to the
right-most edge of the "o"

Hey, these cars were hand built ... perhaps some discretion was given to the
craftsperson who applied the stickers!  :-)

I thought that by '85 they went to the chromed plastic trim pieces ...

I have 2 reliable listers telling me two different things. Mike says they
are centered over the black plastic trim panels, Bob Pastore is telling me
the "Audi" decal starts 13/16 inches from the left edge and the "quattro"
ends 13/16" from the right edge....

Anyone care to cast the deciding vote. Thanks to Mike and Bob for
responding....
