above, which is good info,  but not conclusive if 383F works in cars with the yellow sticker MAC-02 (383b?).  Anyone BTDT?

The seller was giving a 7 day DOA warantee - so I have to send it back soon and I don't want to risk damage to my  car if this ECU has a short or the like.   Shoot - right now I have a running car so I want to keep it that way. 

Mockry talks of a 383H which is rumored to work with all urqs.   Does it exist?   I have some old service bulletins on microfische, maybe there is something there.

Steve- 
 Two things-
 
1)The blue label one is for the 85 model year only. 
I think the yellow one will work in the earlier cars, but not vice versa.
 
2) During all of my ECU swaps, I noticed that I had to slightly turn the
distributor one way or the other to get them to work. You might try that.
