[urq] Formalizing the UPG?urq urq at pacbell.netSun Jul 19 09:55:13 PDT 2009
I've been considering the means by which we can plan for the August 14-15 UPG event without having to spam everyone on the eGroups. The urquattro yahoo group would be one possibility, but I have gotten familiar with Google sites during the course of a couple projects I've worked on and was considering using that. I thought I'd post a quick note to get people's thoughts . First and foremost . should we formalize the UPG in any way? As far as I've been able to determine it has not been formalized to date. Assuming the group is formalized, should it be one large group, or segmented into regions? Before I decided to send this note I almost created a Google site called UPG Nor Cal . Any thoughts on what tools would be best used to manage the group? In addition to Google and yahoo I'm also familiar with AirSet, but they seem to be in a state of flux lately . Steve Buchholz
