[urq] So like, what's up with Audiworld?

I did figure out that I can turn off all the geegaws and sig flash that some
people see to love, but I still feel there is too much screen real estate
taken up with a single post.  Lot's of scrolling and paging to continue past
the highest limit of 40 posts per screen.

I'm with you on the old AW setup. Could never really 'get it' as I had the
hardest time following threads. I'm sure the new format will work better for
them once it gets ironed-out. For me, I appreciate the directness and
easy-to-follow nature of these ancient mailing lists. I really think the
only plus of AW was the ability to post pics. Of course, we can always post
links to pics here if needed. :-)

Looks like AW switched to a new setup - personally I hated the old setup as
posts are easily lost on active forums.  You post a question and a day later
it's 2-3 pages back and nobody sees it....

Frankly I do prefer the email setup like we have here on AF.  Too bad the
Urq List has been so dead.  I guess our cars are all running well!  That or
cars aren't trading hands much and there's no new blood....?

back soon with "KAWF 1998-2009"
