[urq] Bumper Plugs Update?

I hadn't heard much on this lately . is the project progressing?

 

The reason I'm asking . I had lunch with Javad today . man, he's got a
beautiful new shop!  I need to spend more time there!  ;-)

 

Anyway, one of the things he mentioned is that the fact that Audi has
abandoned those of us who like the older cars really helps out businesses
like his.  He has created relationships with some of the companies who used
to make the parts for Audi, and that allows him to be able to provide them.
I asked him if he was only interested in performance related parts and he
said he was interested in all parts.  I mentioned small parts like bumper
plugs.  He told me that as long as there was a sufficient interest expressed
to give some chance of an initial return he'd be willing to help make it
happen.  So . if there is no active work on sourcing a replacement bumper
plug the next thing to discuss is how many people would be in need of them?


 

I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see a bin full of clutch centering
tools . Javad told me that 034 Motorsports does sell quite a bit of run of
the mill parts and have availability similar to Scott Mockry or the other
parts sources.
