Congrats on getting another urq in circulation.

 

I must add my thanks to Marc Swanson.

I showed up in the rs2urq at Carlisle two weeks ago

which was a trick because I also had my supercharged

2002 V8S6 at the event.

 

Marc convinced me that it was time to convert from Motronic to VEMS

engine management for the mighty S6 engined car and

the results were amazing!  As much as I resisted,

we all travel with laptops, might as well put them in use.

 

Marc Swanson, btw, is simply brilliant when it comes to 

working on these cars. We had a great time mapping the

system in pouring rain at dusk on hilly Carlisle roads.

Thanks again Marc!!!!!

 

Smooth driving, but the power was really improved and now

wheelspin really comes on in third gear!

 

While I don't drive the car much, I absolutely get a thrill

of showing my taillights to BMW M5 owners who cannot believe

the surprise in store when they try to equal my power/weight ratio, and

awesome exhaust noise!!!

 

The amazing thing is that Motronic ECU had lots of stuff

done to it:

3bar adjustable pressure transducer;

High performance Steve Eiche chip;

 

and now it has been removed from the car!  So I may be

selling that ECU in the future (I have two others:

one in RS2urs4; the other in 95.5 Avant S6;

the third is a spare stock ecu sitting on my shelf!
