[urq] Fuel Pressure Accumulator Questionurq urq at pacbell.netSun May 31 19:53:14 PDT 2009
... if it is moist with fuel it needs to be replaced ... I'd suspect a leaking FPA probably isn't functioning as it should in any case. I have no clue on where a replacement can be found and will appreciate it if you post back what you find. The FPA in my car is 26 years old now too and probably is in need of replacement. Push comes to shove I suppose you could look for the newest CIS car you can find in a wrecking yard ... probably around '91 or so ... not that much newer ... Steve Buchholz -----Original Message----- It's been at least 10 years since I replaced a fuel pressure accumulator..... I forget... does fuel weeping out of the little screw hole on the end signal the demise of the FPA? Anyone have a good used one they'd be willing to sell? Thanks.
