[urq] tire sizes

Since it seems that I am going to end up 'upgrading' to 17" wheels on the
'83 urq, what experience have you all had with sizes?  215/45 is a hair
smaller than the stock 205/60-15's, but mine came with the 215/50 and euro
suspension back when.  It has EIbach and audisport struts now.  Currently
225/45-16's, which are about dead center between the two 15" sizes.  The
215/40-17's may work best in all that.  SO what's everyone's experience that
has gone up that large?  Still rather have the 15" Fuch's on it, but dislike
the available tires.
