[V6-12v] Heater Core Kaput

Wow, thanks Mike! You just made my day. I take it you
didn't use the crazy crane tool Bentley shows to lift
the heater box out of the firewall in front of the
windshield. Did you just use a pry bar or something?
One last mystery: How and at what point did you figure
out the flaps weren't in the box correctly after your
first try? I sure hope it was before you put the whole
box back in the car again. (Luckily I bought my
daughter a digital camera for Christmas -- I will
certainly take your advice and use it a lot. Because
she said I could.)
Funny, the part I dread most is getting all the
sweet-smelling nice blue coolant out of the carpets
and mats. I will be very jazzed to get this fixed,
becaue the car is pretty well dialed right now
otherwise, even at 193k.
