[V8] Another AC question

It sounds like the orifice tube is partially plugged., if you're going
to "open" the system up, for the $1.00 (it a standard GM part any flaps
should stock). I'd do it. Wipe some PAG oil around the orifice tubes
o-ring to get it to insert easily.

Subject: [V8] Another AC question
When I shut off the ac, there is a high pitched squealing sound, like
off some high pressure bleeding down. It sounds somewhat like my air
compressor when I open the valve and let all the air out.
Now the V8 ac system has done this since I've had the car and the system
has always seemed to function properly in cooling the car.
So I've not put much thought to it. Now that I'm contemplating doing
ac work, I wonder if this pressure relief squeal is something I
remedy as well.
