[Vwdiesel] Ford diesel hard starting

  If there's a fuel issue then I suppose it won't run with an ether start, 
just 
a short burst then that's it.  I'd check the power at the shutoff solenoid 
when cold and also look for air leaks into the fuel line.  Sounds like either 

the solenoid's not letting fuel in, or the fuels bleeding out.
