[Vwdiesel] 1.6l 11mm vs 12mm headsWill Taygan william at taygan.comFri Mar 5 10:07:30 EST 2004
What is this bushing, and where does it fit? I'm pretty sure I have a 1.5 block I'll check again to be sure (1980 with 11mm bolts). It's the remanufactured head I'm trying to figure out. On a 1.5 if I look at the oil return hole, will it be the same size as the oil sending hole? On a 1.6 the front (center?) oil return hole is larger than the oil sending hole? The return on the head has an extra chunk cut out of it that doesn't match to the block (block hole is round), but it matches the 4-notch gasket.
