[Vwdiesel] Golf eating rear wheel bearings.

  If the axle stub were bent, the hub wouldn't turn freely when snuged up.  
The bearing should really bind.  It's likely as Roger pointed out.  I put 
new bearings in the Jetta and had to re-tension them in a month or 
so.  Then again in a couple more.  After a few more months I thought 
I had bad rear shocks.  It turned out both rear bearings were so loose 
again that the car was wandering all over the place.  I try and check 
them about every 6 months, just in case.
