[Vwdiesel] 107A vs 107AG1.6L pumps (was head gasket - black smoke)Will Taygan william at taygan.comSun Mar 28 09:06:59 EST 2004
Loren, I definitely have a 107A pump. Are all 107A pumps the yellow dot pump or are some yellow dot and some non-dots? If the 107A doesn't tell me for sure, how can I tell which I have? What will happen if I advance it to 1.15(?) and it's normal pump? (I don't want to break anything!) It's acting like the fuel builds up and ignites when there's a pool in the cylinder, completely unrelated to the injection time. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Re: [Vwdiesel] New head gasket - now black smoke - HELP! > From: LBaird119 at aol.com > Date: Sat, March 27, 2004 11:02 pm > To: vwdiesel at vwfans.com > > > 1980 vw diesel pickup 1.5L engine injection pump ends in 7A > > > > Sounds like a 107 A (yellow dot pump) You're only almost .3mm > retarded then! They run badly though. > Loren > _______________________________________________ > Vwdiesel mailing list > Vwdiesel at vwfans.com > http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/vwdiesel
