"Fuel temperature - implausible", or something like that. The symptoms depend - some people have reported very little difference in operation. BTW, here is a picture of a nice clean pump, showing the fuel temp sensor on the left. It is held on by 2 screws and looks like a diode or a resistor. It IS a resistor, actually, but one that is made to change value with temperature. http://www.troutsfarm.com/photos/62kb100miles.jpg And here's one that doesn't look so good. http://www.troutsfarm.com/photos/7204bio.jpg Here are a few threads that go into it in more detail: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=793032&page=3&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=all&fpart=1 http://forums.tdiclub.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=793502&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1 Lee Oo-v-oO PP-ASEL KB1GNI
