[Vwdiesel] Old diesel in newer gas chassis?

Hi,

Good condition diesels are almost impossable to find around here so I was
wondering of any problems with putting an older 1.6L diesel in a A3 or A4
chassis.  Performance is no problem (I used to have a '80 Audi 4000S
diesel).  I must retain A/C but that is about the only luxury that I have to
have.

What should I look out for?
