[Vwdiesel] Oil pressure/temp gauge options

If you are doing an "aftercooler", I would leave the
EGT guage out. If no intercooler on the 1.6td, you
need it.

I am just going to do boost, oil temp and oil
pressure, but it would be nice to have volts too

Personally I'd be more inclined to forego a boost gauge instead of
a pyrometer. Boost gauge, once things are set up pretty much
only tends to indicate a dirty air filter, if you have any readings
below zero. Your EGT is useful for letting you know things have
cooled down for shutdown, it'll indicate a bad injector, a change in
max fuel (minimum air = dirty air filter). It'll indicate if changes to
the exhaust or intake have really helped breathing. Boost changes
can also be felt pretty much so if one or the other. I'm a hands down
believer in knowing your EGT. :-)
