Never heard of burning coolant.Coolant into exhaust means
fractured head behind exhaust valves..???.
As a rule of thumb; if you have a gasket leak between
coolant and cylinder then it goes from the 400+ psi to the
coolant which is at 14psi.
It will push coolant out.
 If water cap sticks then any leakage above almost nothing
would quickly pressurise coolant and burst the fattest rad
pipes like a balloon!
Burning a little oil is harmless.
Don't rering unless neccessary. If all your compression
ratios are within 50 psi of each other then don't renew.
New isn't always better...
Grab a gasket and do it yourself...Why??
