[Vwdiesel] Quietening Intake System

Hey All-

I just had some new exhaust pipe welded in to finally
fix the flexible pipe I had to jerry-rig the the
diesel downpipe and Cabriolet pipe and muffler.  I had
intended to fix it proper much sooner, but it worked
okay until the flex pipe finally gave out earlier this
week.

Anyway, the car is much quieter.

However, I'd like it to be quieter still.

I'm wondering if there are any strategies to quiet
down the intake rattle.

I'm wondering about maybe some kind of "pillow" or
something to absorb the sound from the injectors.  Is
there any reason this could hurt something?  What if I
wrapped them in something like dynamat?

Anyone every tried something like this?
