[Vwdiesel] turbo woes. GM

It isn't VW but it is diesel related.  My 94 6.5 td suburban's turbo has 
a vacuum controlled wastegate.  The vacuum pump has just died and my 
mileage and power has fell on its fanny.  Heath diesel has a manual 
wastegate controller for $95.00.  Thinking it is cheaper then buying a 
new vacuum pump, especially since the only thing it runs is the 
wastegate.  After seening how the turbo effects the engine performance 
on the 'burb I really need to get the 1.6 td engine for the Rabbit.
