Problem is if someone breaks their text at some small number of colums and I try to read the message on a wide screen system, I end up with a message that is all broken up like this with a lot of blank space to the right. Or if I read even a 78-80 column message on a smaller laptop screen I get something like this: This line runs out to the width of my small screen then wraps because my window is narrower than the line break length that the author used. But yes, setting my mail reader to wrap to my window width works the best for me and that is the best way to handle this, assuming one uses a reasonably capable mail reading program. Heck, even the first version of Netscape had that feature as does Mozilla Thunderbird which is what I use now. -- Roger
