[Vwdiesel] Golf droppings!

I too, have suffered changes in my mileage on my 86 Golf. I changed my  
commute  route latley to a different highway. It still has the boging 
problem after 5 minutes of driving on the highway. But know, it gets much 
worse when I get to a stretch of the highway that has a long gradual 
incline. (around 5 km)  When I get over the top onto the side, I will gain 
about 10-15KMh. It goes from 80kmh to 90-95kmh. It was blowing black smoke.. 
I changed the air filter and now it just makes a haze at full throttle.

If I end up driving into a head wind I'm toast. ;-)

I sure wish I had a Turbo!
