[Vwdiesel] Never had the water seperator :-(

All this talk about the rear water seperator makes me realize that the 
previous owner of my '86 must have removed it prior to me acquiring the car.  Now I 
feel like I missed out on the aggravation of fixing an overpriced piece of 
unnecessary plastic.  :-(
I did routinely (every year) drain the fuel filter/seperator in the engine 
bay, and never got a drop of diesel out of it.
