It's not the famous "stuttering" problem, is it? I had the same problem with my 2000 Golf. I fixed it by turning up the idling fuel quantity with the Vag-Com program. (1.5 ml/stroke to 3 ml/stroke). "Vibration" was worst when turning, and braking simultaneously....
