[Vwdiesel] Fuel Tank Sabotage!

The locksmith on the Vanagon list has addressed this a few times - don't
remember all the specifics, but his main comment was that lock lube needed 
to be a "dry" lubricant.  He directed everyone to a lube in a can called 
"Tri-Flow."  Can says it's got "Teflon" in it... no idea what that means, 
but I live in WI and my locks have been fine ever since.  I lube up whenever

one starts feeling a little stiff - probably once / yr...
End up using it on a lot of other stuff too - garage door hinges, pre-
assembly of rusty tractor bolts, etc.
