[Vwdiesel] Fwd: [vwpickups] Hi All

I wanted to forward this to the VW diesel list in case anyone might be 
able to help.  Lewis is a dyed in the wool Caddy lover.  Unfortuantely 
about a year ago, he fell from a balcony and was severely injured and 
partially paralyzed.  Members of the VWpickups yahoo group, managed to 
find and send him an automatic tranny for his truck be he now needs 
help to install it.  I believe the he is located in Washington state .  
If some of you Norwesters might have some time and a big heart, I am 
sure he would appreciate the help.  Drop him a line and find out 
exactly where he is and help him out if you can.  If I wasn't so far 
away, I would be there in a flash but Texas to Washington is not 
exactly right next door.  In fact, here in Texas we would say that it 
is a "fur piece down the road".  Hayden

gave its life to my Rabbit Pickup).
And many, many, many VWs; from a 1946 Beetle (11 Beetles total), to 
Vans (5 - 3 splitties, 2 bay window), Rabbits (3), Karmen Ghia (1), 
Jettas (5), Passat (1), Dasher (1), New Beetle (1), and Rabbit Pickups 
(3) most now gone but not forgotten.
