Thanks to all for the suggestions!  The consensus seems to be sticking, 
carboned up rings.  The windage tray is in there (it's a stock item on this year 
model). I'm going to try synthetic oil and decarboning additives.  Glad to know 
it's probably not a problem with the turbo.  By the way Loren, you are spot on 
with the "poor maintenance" observation.  She had the oil changed at those 
quickie places somewhat infrequently and they didn't use the right oil.  Also, 
it's funny.  You can have problems from not driving a car hard enough.  Later,
