I agree that it's not the ideal, but the real stuff is meant for using when
the windshield is out of the car, right?
That's not an option right now. This is my daily driver and I'm here in
rainy Oregon. For a short term fix I figured it would be ok, and I can see
that it hasn't lifted up from the glass or the metal. I'm hoping to be able
to wait until summer to fix it for real.
