[Vwdiesel] 2001 Golf intermittent blinker

thanks Loren
but I'm pretty sure it's the hazard switch
took it apart today and watched it in operation
there's a magnetic relay in there that runs the two blinkers (more  
stupid VW engineering, IMNSHO - why would they run the blinkers thru  
the hazards??)
going to try to get the switch recall done
otherwise, maybe I can hotwire for the time being to bypass the relay  
(any thoughts on that?)
or grab a new switch from autohaus or somewhere
maybe they have a SS available now
