You can pound out those washers, but at a buck a piece I replace them everytime. The center part crushes a little and gives you a good seal from the head to the injector (in addition to protecting the injector from heat.) So no, not reusable. Will. The Quantum is beginning to feel like a money pit but feel the only un necessary money I spent was $150 for another used IP as I could have had the existing pump re sealed or rebuilt instead, which I do plan to have rebuilt for use on one of my other VWs. > I hope to get out tomorrow & work on the Quantum, & follow up on Mark's suggestions. I probably should replace the fuel filter but I wouldn't think it is blocked if I can suck fuel out the outlet side of the IP with my hand vacuum pump. > Oh, one other question I forgot to ask. Mine looked OK, so I just cleaned them & re used them > Bill Toensing, Nevada City, CA > _______________________________________________ > Vwdiesel mailing list > Vwdiesel at vwfans.com > http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/vwdiesel >
