  He must've been there, you've heard of the "Gore effect" haven't you?
This is true.  (For a while anyway) most if not all of the speaking 
engagements he had were either cancelled due to severe weather 
(snow, below normal temps, etc) or within a day or two of him 
leaving they would get it.  Nor sure if it was 100% for quite a streak 
or just a high percentage but it was uncanny!
