  Just don't forget that the diesels use a slightly longer drive rod 
than the gassers (unless it's  a RARE, non-power brake model).
Put a gasser pump in a diesel without swapping the shaft and 
you'll have no drive from the vacuum pump to the oil pump.  :-o
