[Vwdiesel] power Steering shudder

Final found the problem; the (BEW) serpentine tensioner was worn to the
point that the plastic idler was rubbing on the plastic front cover and
singing like a cheap guitar. The clearance between the cover and idler when
new is about 1/8", so it didn't need much side play in the pivot to get
there.
$70 and 15 minutes to fix.
