[Vwdiesel] VW turbo recall

I suspect the engine sludging problems are due to a failure to using
synthetic oil. I use Amsoil synthetic in all my cars & have not had a
problem.. I understand Toyota V-6 gas engines have had major sludging
problems. Does anyone know of any Toyota V-6 or VW TDI engine failures when
using synthetic oil?
