Clairparts is out of the Audi units.

I'm on the phone now with ken @ VW West Hartford.
Phatbox kit (Ebay $150) + Cable (Ebay $104) + Bracket (Ebay $12)
Ebay Total $266 + shipping

Direct from Ken total: $239.35 + shipping ($13..)


Ken reports that there are no more VW units out there - thats why all
the advertised VW units are more expensive than the Audis, since they
are just Audi boxes with the converter harness!!

Bought a brand new Concert-I for $150 + shippingoff ebay and the tools for $15.
Could go cheaper but its worth it to me to get a NEW unit.

Total all parts shipped to MI: $ 426.36

Now we'll just see how long these parts Rosatto in my garage before I
ever install them :) :)  Or perhaps I'll bring em to S-Fest and
install em there :)
