RE: COUPE QUATTRO STALLING
About a year ago, my Coupe also was exeriencing stalling when coming to a
stop.
A idle adjustment cured it; this is the procedure in the Bentley manual:
Up to March 1990 prod:
   -   Run engine at idle
   - Connect a jumper across the bottom two diagnostic connectors located
      on the driver's side under the package shelf. Each connector has two
terminals;
      use the lower terminal on each connector.
   -  Adjust idle speed to 800 +/- 50 RPM
   -  Remove jumper
from March 1990 prod:
   - Disconnect harness connector from carbon cannister shutoff valve (manual
shows
     location just forward of coolant tank)
   - Run engine at idle
   - Connect fuse into top of fuel pump relay (in fuse box)
Good luck!
