RE: '86 4kcsq.
Recently replaced fuel pump and relay. Don't often venture towards the red
end of the tach, but twice now when needing to make a pass power has
sudenly left at c.a. 5,000 rpm. I'm wondering if the relay cuts out at
certain rpm and if I was sold a relay for 4 cylinder, which, when
installed in 5 cylinder, gives false rpm reading and hence early cutoff?
Hope this makes sense and has acceptable signal/noise ratio.
