Archive searches

Listers,

It appears I can't seem to locate any search items from the '99 archives 
when using the search engine.  Am I not looking in the right places, or is 
there something that I am missing?  Specifically, I was looking for 
references to the bomb recharging threads I have noted this year and the 
search engine returned links to '98 and older messages only.  By going 
through each day's archive I did locate some of the info I was looking for, 
but what a PITA....
