major oil leak!

Now that we know that it is engine and not hyd. oil you¹re right, could be
the gauge sender or either of the two press. switches. I discounted the
having to add engine oil as a symptom, inasmuch as I never add engine oil
between 10K oil changes at which time it is at the bottom line.
