  You might want to check that the constant immersion doesn't 
damage the diaphragm or the rubber "snout."  Boost enrichment 
responsiveness might be diminished a little by that chamber beig 
full of fuel but that'd depend on how big the hole is in the snout. 
I've seen them barely snipped to almost no hole to about 1/8" 
of a hole.  It's just an o-ring or two  with an r&r of the lid.  You'll 
get tired of the drip and put a new one in one of these days!  :-D
