It might also me a malfunctioning cold- start valve. I occasionally experience trouble getting the car to turn over when hot, but I think this is due to too much fuel - I always can smell gas in this situation. - Have you looked to see whether you have a malfunctioning cold-start valve which is injecting too much gas and flooding the engine?
