Bad Turbo Hose

I recently talked with a gent named Peter Coulter who owns AudiOnly in 
Denver.  He mentioned that it's common for Audis to have a hose 
problem between the intercoller and the next part - evidently the PVC-
equivalent dumps into the connecting hose, causing oil to puddle in 
the bottom of the hose - and rot it out.  It looks great from above, 
he says, but can often be spotted from below.  

I thought this might relate to a recent post - and sure would explain 
a mysterious lack of power.
