flashing lights

hey again I have another problem with the coupe.  Actually I have had it 
for a while, and I had written to you all about it a while ago, but I did 
not give all the info about it.  The coolant light is flashing constantly 
regardless of the amount of coolant.  When I had had some toher things 
fixed a while ago, thew mechanic supposedly disconnected the sensor,but 
it still flashed.  The only thing that they have recommended is to get a 
new coolant bottle at 70 dollars.  Is there anything that I could do to 
fix this?
