RE: 1987 4kcsq Project

Project starts with complete engine rebuild, high-compression pistons,
ceramic low friction coating on the pistons and combustion chambers, a
high-lift cam, light-weight clutch assembly, custom-built
stainless-steel headers and exhaust system--3.5" terminus.  A
high-compression, bored-out beast with various other goodies and
projected 30hp improvement.  We're in up to $7k now.

Might want to retain the factory 4KQ header setup and spend those $$$
where the gains would be greater. Also, a 3.5" terminus is total overkill,
spend those $$$s elsewhere where there will be real benefit, tahrs,
brakes, suspension, etc.
