The official test, as I know it is to turn off the motor and
then pump the brakes until the assist dies, noticable as a 
stiff pedal.  You should get to twenty or more with a good 
bomb.  I think 300 is high for parts.  Ithink you can do half that.
Will he install one for you? (mail order it!)
