bye-bye to audi exclusivity

So much for Audi exclusivity.  Was on the Norteast Extension of the Pa.
Turnpike in evening rush-hour the other night in my A4QM Avant.  Ahead
of me were three A4 sedans (all Qs, two 2.8s, one 1.8T) and behind me
one A4 sedan (a rare, for these parts, non-Q 2.8).  Pretty sight indeed,
and likely to become more frequent given the rate at which Audis are
selling these days.  August sales stats out today: Audi up 38 percent
over 8/97 (VW up 71 percent, Porsche up 134 percent).
