I agree that this is dangerous. I have another approach that only bypasses the fuel pump when the engine is running, as seen by the alternator before the diodes. If anyone's interested, I send them details. What I'm hoping is that someone will develop an adjustable overboost protection approach that still provides protection, but at a hgher level.
