2.8 v6 valve crunching
help, it seems I have the only piccy of a 2.8 30-valve v6 with a timing belt.
I checked this morning and it clearly has a timing belt running off the crank
pulley to each inlet cam and a timing chain off the other end of the inlet cam,
over a hydraulic piston and running the exhaust cam. The hydraulic piston
is definately for varying the exhaust cam timing relative to the inlet cam.
This was in the Audi magazine, a horrible glossy thing produced by Audi (I
think) and passed on to me by the AOC at last years Goodwood f.o.s., any uk
listers with a copy to back us up?????
